Herbal Treatment for Diarrhoea

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for diarrhoea.
Disease symptoms: Frequent and loose motion, dehydration, weakness, nausea.
Ingredients: 5 g root of Kolunji (Tephrosia purpurea (L.) Pers.), 1/4 teaspoon gum oleoresin of Perungayam (Ferula assa-foetida L.), 1 teaspoon fruits of Sirunjeeragam (Cuminum cyminum L.), 2- 3 cloves of Liliaceae (Allium sativum L.), and 5 g rhizome of Inji (Zingiber officinale Roscoe).
Preparation: Collect, wash and crush all the ingredients together to prepare a paste.
Dosage/Application: Consume 2 teaspoons prepared paste once daily for 2 days.
