Innovation Description
PurposeFungus growth is often seen on walls during monsoons. Not only these spoil the aesthetics of the room/home but are harmful to the health too especially for people with allergy or asthma.
Technical detailsSneharakhi’s idea is to develop a device that can scrap and suck the green algae growing on the walls of a home, in pathways and other places. Mohi suggests having a machine, which can clean the fungus automatically. She has also developed a brush having a chemical container to spray chemicals along with the brushing of the affected wall.
BenefitsSuch type of instrument will be very beneficial during the rainy season to maintain the looks and strength of the walls. Due to the use of chemical growth inhibitors the probability of reoccurrence of algae will be minimized.
