By : Mr. Jayeshbhai Vithhalbhai Dobriya, Junagadh, Gujarat

Innovation Description

Mr. Jayeshbhai Vithhalbhai Dobriya from Junagarh, Gujarat has developed the herbal preparation to control of larvae in crop.
Targeted pest: Larvae (Caterpillar)
Targeted crop: All crops
Ingredients: Calotropis procera (Aiton) W.T.Aiton, Azadirachta indica A.Juss., Nicotiana tabacum L., Allium cepa L., Datura metel L., Annona squamosa L., Vitex negundo L., Allium sativum L., Jaggery, Cow urine
Methodology: Take 5 L of cow urine, 500 g each of jaggery, leaves of Neem Aakdo, Custard apple, Tobacco, Datura, Nagod, Neem or Karanj oil, 1 kg garlic bulb, 1 kg onion bulb in one vessel, cover it and keep it in open sunlight for 15 days. Filter and use the formulation for spraying into the infected crop. Use 250 ml stock in 15 L of water for spraying on crops.
