The traditional knowledge holder has
suggested anthelmintic for calves.
Disease symptoms: Low appetite, weakness, stomach pain, diarrhoea
Ingredients: Leaves
of Aloe (Aloe vera (L.) Burm.f.).
Preparation: Collect,
wash and excavate the leaf mucilage.
Dosage/Application: Feed 1
teaspoon of the mucilage to the affected animal twice daily till relief.
