Herbal Anthelmintic for Goat

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested anthelmintic for goat.
Disease symptoms: Loss of appetite, weakness, worms in the stomach
Ingredients: 10 g leaves of Vetrilai (Piper betle L.), 100 g leaves of Karuveppilai (Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng.), 50 g leaves of Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.), 50 g bulb of Vellapoondu (Allium sativum L.)., 50 g rhizome of Manjal (Curcuma longa L.), 50 g fruits of Vathal (Capsicum annuum L.), 50 g rhizome of Sukku (Zingiber officinale Rosc), 50 g fruits of Venthayam (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.), 50 g fruits of Omam (Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague), 10 g fruit of Milagu (Piper nigrum L.), 20 g Soda uppu (Sodium bicarbonate), 200 g leaves of Seenthil (Tinospora cordifolia (Willd.) Hook.f. & Thomson), 100 g leaves of Aavaram poo (Senna auriculata (L.) Roxb.), 150 g grated fruit of Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.), 50 g Indhu salt (Rock salt) and 100 g Vellam (Jaggery).
Preparation: Collect and crush all the ingredients together to prepare a paste. Prepare 25 g bolus each. 
Dosage/Application: Feed 1 bolus to the affected goat once in a month preferably on an empty stomach. For problematic cases continue the treatment for 2-3 days. 
Ingredients' availability: The plants are available in nearby places and other ingredients are available in the local market.
