Innovation Description
The traditional
knowledge holder has suggested a herbal bathing powder.
Ingredients: 500 g of Usilai powder (Albizia amara (Roxb.) Boivin), 500 g of leaves and flower Avarai (Senna auriculata (L.) Roxb.), 500 g leaves Vilvam (Aegle marmelos (L.) Corrêa), 500 g leaves of Nannuri (Hemidesmus indicus (L.) R.Br.), 500 g Vidathalai (Alantsilodendron pilosum Villiers), 500 g leaves Veeli (Cadaba fruticosa (L.) Druce), 500 g plant of Vallarai (Centella asiatica (L.) Urb.), 500 g plant of Boomisakarai (Maerua arenaria Hook.f. & Thomson)
Preparation: Dry all the ingredients to make a powder and store it in any airtight container. Take 1-2 table spoon of this powder and mix with water to make a paste. Use this paste to cleanse entire body including scalp.
Dosage/Application: Apply the paste to the head and scalp every time while bathing.
