Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested herbal hair tonic.
Ingredients: 50 g each of leaves, flowers, root and bark of Katta varai (Senna auriculata (L.) Roxb.), 25 g leaves of Kattuthulasi (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.), 25 g leaves of Omavalli (Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour.) Spreng.) and 500 ml extract of Kalthamarai (Begonia floccifera Bedd.).
Preparation: Collect, mix and crush all the plant parts to extract the juice. Warm the extracted juice.
Dosage/Application: Apply the warm juice on hair and scalp once daily for 3 months.
