Herbal Mosquito Repellent Coil

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested herbal mosquito repellent coil.
Ingredients: 20 g each-Leaves of Krishna tulasi (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.), leaves of Camphor tulasi (Ocimum kilimandscharicum Gürke), leaves of Neem (Azadirachta indica A.Juss.), leaves of Koovala (Aegle marmelos (L.) Corrêa), leaves of Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.), leaves of Peper (Piper betle L.), leaves and flowers of Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), root of Khus (Chrysopogon zizanioides (L.) Roberty), resin of Kundirikka (Boswellia serrata Roxb.), leaves of Amaltash (Cassia fistula L.), fibers of fruits of Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.), Sawdust, Maida or resin of Kolamavu (Machilus glaucescens (Nees) Wight), Neem Oil (Azadirachta indica A.Juss.) and Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus (DC.) Stapf) and 20 ml Diesel or DEP oil (optional).
Preparation: Collect, wash, dry and grind the leaves, roots, and flowers to prepare a powder. Add resin of Kundirikka, Sawdust and charcoal from fibers of Coconut. Further, add a binding agent Maida or resin of Kolamavu. Heat all the Organic oils upto 100 degree Celsius and allow to cool, add Diesel or DEP oil (optional) in 1:1 ratio. Add the prepared powder with binding agent and knead into dough. Roll into convenient shapes and use as a repellent.
Dosage/Application: Burn the prepared 
repellent during the time in need.
