Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested herbal mosquito repellent.
Ingredients: 50 ml Coconut oil, 50 Lemongrass oil (Cymbopogon citratus (DC.) Stapf), 10 g root of kundirikkam (Boswellia serrata Roxb.), 10 g rhizome of Arietta (Picrorhiza kurroa Royle ex Benth.).
Preparation: Mix all the ingredients together and keep for 2 weeks. Then the herbal oil is ready for use.
Dosage/Application: Smear the oil on the body to repel mosquitoes for 4 hours.
