Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for appendicitis.
Disease symptoms: Pain near the belly button and then moves toward the lower-right side of the abdomen
Ingredients: 25 g bark of Drumstick (Moringa oleifera Lam.), a pinch of gum resin powder of Asafetida (Ferula assa-foetida L.) and a pinch of Rock salt.
Preparation: Collect, wash and boil the bark in 150 ml water to prepare a decoction. Add asafetida powder and rock salt in the decoction just before to drink.
Dosage/Application: Consume the decoction once daily till it cures.
