Herbal Treatment for Cataract

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for cataract.
Disease symptoms:   Blurred vision, inability to see in dim light, seeing halos around lights, vision loss
Ingredients: 1 bulb of Onion (Allium cepa L.), 10 g leaves of Sirupeelai (Ouret lanata (L.) Kuntze) and 2 g dried fruits of Milagu (Piper nigrum L.).
Preparation: Collect, wash and crush the ingredients to extract the juice.
Dosage/Application: Instill 1 drop of extracted juice in the affected eye thrice daily till relief.
Ingredients' availability: The plants are available in nearby fields.
