The
traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for cough.
Disease symptoms: Sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, loss of
smell, whooping cough.
Ingredients: 50 g leaves
of Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.), 20 ml fruit juice
of Lemon (Citrus × limon (L.) Osbeck) and 20 g Palmgur.
Preparation: Collect, wash, and boil the leaves in 500 ml water until the volume is reduced to half. Allow to cool, filter and collect decoction. Squeeze lemon fruit to extract the juice. Mix the prepared decoction, lemon fruit juice and palmgur to prepare a mixture.
Dosage/Application: Consume the prepared mixture twice daily for 3-5 days.
