Herbal Treatment for Cough

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for cough.
Disease symptoms: Sore throat, persistent cough, hoarseness, wheezing.
Ingredients: 10 g leaves of Ardusi (Justicia adhatoda L.), 10 g leaves of Kantala (Agave americana L.), 10 g flower bud of Laung (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M.Perry) and 10 g rhizome of Sauth (Zingiber officinale Roscoe).
Preparation: Crush the ingredients and boil them in 300 ml of water to prepare a decoction.
Dosage/Application: Consume 1 cupful of the prepared decoction once daily for 2-3 days.
