Herbal Treatment for Cough

Innovation Description
The
traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for cough.
Disease symptoms: Shortness of breath, wheezing, itching throat.
Ingredients: 50 g bark of Anar (Punica granatum L.), 12 fruits of Kali Mirch (Piper nigrum L.), 12 cloves of
Long (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M.Perry) and 50 g of Jaggery.
Preparation: Boil all the ingredients in 2 L of water untill it remains 125
ml.
Dosage/Application: Consume 1 spoon prepared decoction twice daily for 15 days.
Precaution: Avoid sour and sweet food.
Ingredients' availability: The plants are available in nearby places. Jaggery
is available in the local market.
