Herbal Treatment for Diarrhoea in Chicken

Innovation Description
The traditional
knowledge holder has suggested treatment for diarrhoea in chicken.
Disease symptoms: Frequent and loose motion, weakness, dehydration.
Ingredients: 100 g of the shoot of Musumusukai (Cucumis maderaspatanus L.), 50 g of the shoot of Kartalai (Aloe vera (L.) Burm.f.), 50 g of the leaves of Aathi (Ficus racemosa L.)
Preparation: Allow the plant parts to dry and grind them together to prepare a powder. Boil the powder in water to prepare a decoction and collect the filtrate.
Dosage/Application: Feed 25 ml of the decoction to the chicken on an empty stomach twice daily until recovery.
