The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for diarrhoea in goat.
Disease symptoms: Watery faeces, dehydration, loss of appetite, loose watery stools
Ingredients: 50 g fresh fruit of Sal (
Shorea robusta C.F.Gaertn.), 50 g bark of Koraiya (
Luffa acutangula (L.) Roxb.) and Soil.
Preparation: Collect and crush the ingredients with 100 ml of water to prepare a solution.
Dosage/Application: Feed prepared mixture to the affected animal twice daily for 3-5 days.
