Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for diarrhoea.
Disease symptoms: Frequent bowel movement, stomachache.
Ingredients: 2 kg fresh bark of Sohjan (Moringa oleifera Lam.), 250 g dried fruits of Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi  (L.) Sprague) and 200 g kala namak (Black salt).
Preparation: Collect and crush all the ingredients to prepare a paste.
Dosage/ Application: Feed 100 g of the prepared paste to the affected animal twice daily for 7-21 days.
Ingredients' availability: The plants are available in village forests in all seasons. Kala namak is available in the local market.
