Innovation Description
The traditional
knowledge holder has suggested treatment for diphtheria.
Disease symptoms: Sore throat, fever, swollen lymph nodes.
Ingredients: 100 g root of Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.) and 100 ml Sesame oil.
Preparation: Crush the root to extract the juice and mix with oil.
Dosage/Application: Consume 1 spoon prepared mixture once daily for 10 days.
Ingredients' availability: The plant is available in nearby places. Sesame oil is available in the local market.
