Herbal Treatment for Dysentery

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for dysentery.
Disease symptoms: Blood and mucus in stools, weakness, dehydration 
Ingredients: 10 g leaves of Karivepilai (Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng.), 10 g leaves of Poduthalai (Phyla nodiflora (L.) Greene), 10 g rhizome of Sukku (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), 200 g Curd.
Preparation: Roast all the plant parts and grind to form a powder. 
Dosage/Application: Consume 20 g of prepared powder with curd once daily for 2 days.     
Ingredients availability: The plants are available in nearby places. Curd is available in local markets.
