Herbal Treatment for Earache

Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for earache.
Disease symptoms: Itching, a feeling of fullness in the ear, pain.
Ingredients: 10 g leaves of Akando (Calotropis procera (Aiton) W.T.Aiton) and 5 ml Divel oil (Castor oil).
Preparation: Apply the oil to the leaves and roast it. Crush the roasted leaves to extract the juice.
Dosage/Application: Instil 2-3 drops of juice to the affected ear once daily till cure.
Ingredients’ availability: The plant is available in nearby places. Divel oil (Castor oil) is available in
local market.
