The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for eye injury.
Disease symptoms: Pain, red eyes, swelling, watery eyes.
Ingredients: 25 g seeds of Elaichi (Elettaria cardamomum (L.) Maton), 10 g Laung (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M.Perry), a pinch latex of Afeem (Papaver somniferum L.), 25 g Fitkari (Alum) and 250 g Cow ghee.
Preparation: Crush and cook all the ingredients to make a paste.
Dosage/Application: Apply the paste over the eyelid.
Precaution: Avoid eye contact.
