Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for fever.
Disease symptoms: Headache, body ache, high body temperature, weakness
Ingredients used: Bark of Thied Jamysdoh (Houttuynia cordata Thunb.), bark of Thied sohbrab (Passiflora edulis Sims), fruits of Sohmarit khlaw (Piper nigrum L.), Kyiad rot (local khasi alcohol), Lemon (Citrus × limon (L.) Osbeck).
Preparation: Dry and grind the ingredients to make powder. Add 2 spoons of each of the ingredients 1 litre of alcohol to make a solution.
Dosage/Application: Mix 2 spoons of the medicine with 1 spoon of lemon juice and apply on the body once a day until recovery.
Precaution: No precaution needed.
Ingredients' availability: The plants are available in forest. Other ingredients are available in the local market.
