Innovation Description
The
traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for foot and mouth disease (FMD).
Disease symptoms: Blisters in the mouth and feet, drop in milk production, weight loss, loss of appetite, weakness
Ingredients: 200 g Ghee and 50 g seeds of Kanku (Bixa orellana L.).
Preparation: Collect and mix both the ingredients to prepare a paste.
Dosage/Application: Apply the prepared paste over the affected area after washing it with water. Do it once daily till cure.
Ingredients availability: The plant is available in nearby places. Ghee is available in the local market.
