Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for foot and mouth disease (FMD).
Disease symptoms: Blisters in the mouth and feet, drop in milk production, weight loss, loss of appetite, quivering lips, frothing.
Ingredients: 250 g bark of each Ambda (Mangifera indica L.) and Khakhara (Butea monosperma (Lam.) Kuntze).
Preparation: Grind the bark in 500 ml water to prepare the juice.
Dosage/Application: Feed the prepared
juice to the animal once daily till cure.
