Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for foot and mouth disease (FMD).
Disease symptoms: Blisters in the mouth and feet, drop in milk production, loss of appetite, quivering lips, frothing  
Ingredients: 500 g fresh bark of Pipal (Ficus religiosa L.).
Preparation: Collect, wash and boil the bark in 1 L water to prepare a decoction. 
Dosage/Application: Wash the affected area of the animal with the prepared decoction twice daily for 3 days.
