Herbal Treatment for Foot and Mouth Disease

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for foot and mouth disease.
Disease symptoms: Blisters in mouth and feet, loss of appetite in animals.
Ingredients: 100 g fresh inner bark of Babool (Vachellia nilotica (L.) P.J.H.Hurter & Mabb.)
Preparation: Take out the inner portion of the Babool bark. Boil this in sufficient quantity of water. Reduce this till one fourth of initial quantity and cool.
Dosage/Application: Sprinkle this decoction on the affected legs or mouth region of the cattle twice a day for one week.
Precautions: Nil.
