Herbal Treatment for Gastric Ulcers

Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for gastric ulcers.
Disease symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, heartburn
Ingredients: 250 g fruits of Amlai (Phyllanthus emblica L.) and 5-10 g Kala nimak (Black Salt).
Preparation: Collect, wash, cut the fruit and boil with 3-4 L water until the volume is reduced to 1-1.5 L. Filter to collect decoction and retain the residue. Mix black salt to the decoction and store in a sterile jar. Mix black salt with the residue, prepare small tablets and sundry for 2-3 days.
Dosage/Application: Consume on empty stomach, 20-30 ml of the prepared decoction twice daily or 1-2 tablets thrice daily till cure.
Ingredients' availability: The plants are available in nearby fields. Black salt is available in the local markets.
