Herbal Treatment for Gastritis

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for gastritis.
Disease symptoms: Upper stomach pain, nausea, vomiting.
Ingredients: 10 g fruits of Puli (Tamarindus indica L.), 10 g stem of Pirandai (Cissus quadrangularis L.), 5 g dried latex of Perungayam (Ferula assa-foetida L.), 10 g powder of  Milagai (Piper nigrum L.), 1 bulb of Vengayam (Allium cepa L.), 2 fruits of Thakkali (Solanum lycopersicum L.).
Preparation: Crush, cook all the plants part along with salt and water to prepare the curry .  
Dosage/Application: Consume prepared curry once daily for 2 days.  
Ingredients availability: The plants are available in nearby places. Salt is available in the local market.
