Herbal Treatment for Gout

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for gout.
Disease symptoms: Severe pain, redness and swelling in joints, often the big toe.
Ingredients: 50 g roots of Gurju (Tinospora cordifolia (Willd.) Hook.f. & Thomson) and 50 g flower of Ghoptayful (Brugmansia suaveolens (Humb. & Bonpl. ex Willd.) Sweet).
Preparation: Crush and boil the ingredients in 1 L of water.
Dosage/Application: Apply the decoction to the affected area once daily till cure. 
Ingredient’s availability: The plants are available in nearby places.
