Herbal Treatment for Jaundice

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for jaundice.
Disease symptoms: Fever, yellowish decoloration of body, eyes, and urine. 
Ingredients: 50 g fruits of Badi Amla (Phyllanthus amarus Schumach. & Thonn.), 50 g root of Manjuati (Lawsonia inermis L.), 50 g whole plant of Guluchi (Tinospora cordifolia (Willd.) Hook.f. & Thomson), 50 g whole plant of Puruni (Boerhavia diffusa L.), 10 g Louha Bhasma (Iron Bhasma) and 10 g Mandur Bhasma.
Preparation: Collect and grind all the plant ingredients together to prepare a powder. Mix the plant powder with Louha Bhasma and Mandur Bhasma.
Dosage/Application: Consume 5 g prepared powder with rice water or sugarcane juice or coconut water twice daily on an empty stomach for 3 days.
