Herbal Treatment for Jaundice

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for jaundice. 
Disease symptoms: Fever, yellowish decolouration of body, eyes and urine 
Ingredients: 20 g rhizome of 
Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), 20 g dried fruits of Pipu (Piper longum L.), 20 g dried fruits of Black Pepper (Piper nigrum L.) and 20 g fruits of Lemon (Citrus × limon (L.) Osbeck).
Preparation: Collect and wash the plant ingredients. Crush fruits to extract the juice. Crush rhizome and fruits to prepare powder.
Dosage/Application: Consume 15 g powder with 30 ml lemon juice on an empty stomach twice daily for 1 month.
