Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for joint pain.
Disease symptoms: 
Swelling of joints, stiffness, tenderness
Ingredients: 400 g fresh bulb of Ban piyaj (Drimia maritima (L.) Stearn), 500 g fresh fruits of Dhatura (
Datura metel L.), 100 g fresh leaves of Akwan (Calotropis procera (Aiton) W.T.Aiton), 1 L Karuwa tel (Mustard oil), 250 g dry bulb of Lahsun (Allium sativum L.), 500 g leaves of Kheni (Nicotiana tabacum L.)
Preparation: Mix and crush all the ingredients to make a paste. 
Dosage/Application: Apply the paste on the affected area thrice daily.
Ingredients’ availability: 
The plants are available in nearby places and the other ingredient is available in the local market.
