Herbal Treatment for Leprosy

Innovation Description
The
traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for leprosy.
Disease symptoms: Reduced sensation of touch, blister, skin lesions, numbness in the hands, feet, muscle weakness.
Ingredients: 20 g fresh leaves of Akondo (Calotropis gigantea (L.)
W.T.Aiton) and 20 g dried rhizome powder of Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.).
Preparation: Collect and crush both the plant parts to obtain a paste.
Dosage/Application: Apply the prepared paste over the affected area once daily till relief.
