Herbal Treatment for Limping

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for limping.
Disease symptoms: Pain in the foot or leg, weakness, neuromuscular imbalance.
Ingredients: 5 g bark of Athi maram (Ficus racemosa L.), 5 g rhizome of Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), 1 teaspoon fruits of Cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.), 2- 3 leaves of Syria nangai (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees), 2- 3 leaves of Siru kurunjuan (Gymnema sylvestre (Retz.) R.Br. ex Sm.), and 2- 3 leaves of Eswara mooligai (Aristolochia indica L.).
Preparation: Collect, wash and boil all the plant parts into 250 ml of water. Allow it to cool and strain out the decoction.
Dosage/Application: Consume approx. 200 ml prepared decoction twice daily for 3 days.
