Herbal Treatment for Malaria

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for malaria.
Disease symptoms: 
Fever, chills, headache, nausea and vomiting, muscle pain and fatigue.
Ingredients: 25 g bark of Kornge mara (Heynea trijuga Roxb.), 25 g leaves Majjige soppu (Cymbopogon citratus (DC.) Stapf), 25 g bark of  Korambil (Flueggea leucopyrus Willd.), 25 g root of Chakrani (Thottea siliquosa (Lam.) Ding Hou), 25 g bark of jagame mara (Aglaia elaeagnoidea (A.Juss.) Benth.), 25 g root of Kodanchi (Holarrhena pubescens Wall. ex G.Don), 25 g fruit of Kaalu Menasu (Piper nigrum L.), 100 g fruits of Hippali ( Piper longum L.), 100 g fruits of Jaikaai (Myristica dactyloides Gaertn.),100 g fruits of Oma (Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague), 100 seeds of Sasive (Brassica juncea (L.) Czern.), 100 g dried rhizome of Shoonti (Zingiber officinale Roscoe)
Preparation: Grind all ingredients to prepare powder and boil it in 2 liters of water till volume reduces to 750 ml. Allow it to cool and filter it.
Dosage/Application:  Consume 50 ml of prepared decoction in the morning, once daily for 15 days.
