Herbal Treatment for Malnutrition(Children)

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for malnutrition.
Disease symptoms: Fatigue, Weakness, dizziness and weight loss
Ingredients: 100 g seeds of Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.), 100 g seeds of  Rice(Oryza sativa L.),100 g seeds of Gram(Cicer arietinum L.), 100 g seeds of Moong(Vigna radiata (L.) R.Wilczek), 50 g Mungfali(Arachis hypogaea L.), 50 g seeds of Til(Sesamum indicum L.), 40 g Soyabean(Glycine max (L.) Merr.), 60 g Jav(Hordeum vulgare L.) and 400 g Sugar.
Preparation: Soak the seeds of wheat, rice, moong, gram for 2 - 3 hours in water and wash it. Dry them adry them. Soak the soybean in water to remove the outer layer of it. Grind the mungfali and til together to prepare a crushed. Roast the wheat, rice, gram and moong on the sand till the brown color appears. Seive the roasted seeds to remove the sand and mix them with crushed and sugar to prepare a mixture. 
Dosage/Application: Consume the prepared mixture twice daily for 30 days.
