Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for mastitis.
Disease symptoms: Swelling of the udder, no lactation
Ingredients: 50 g of Nil thotha- Copper sulphate, 50 g of Gandhak- Sulpher, 500 g of Zinc oxide, 100 ml of Coconut oil, 100 ml of Castor oil,  50 g of Camphor, 1 kg of Petroleum jelly,  leaves of Neem- Azadirachta indica A.Juss.
Preparation: Collect and crush the ingredients to prepare a paste.Also mix /boil the neem leaves in water.
Dosage/Application: Apply the paste to the affected area of the animal twice daily till recovery. (The affected area should be cleaned properly using neem (Azadirachta indica) leaves water before applying the ointment.
