Herbal Treatment for Oligomenorrhoea

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for oligomenorrhoea.    
Disease symptoms: Large blood clots, infrequent menstruation.        
Ingredients: 100gm dried leaves of Babool (
Vachellia nilotica (L.) P.J.H.Hurter & Mabb.), 100gm dried leaves of Anar (Punica granatum L.), 50gm dried roots of Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal).          
Preparation: Powder of Babool leaves, Anar leaves and Ashwagandha roots are prepared. Babool leaf powder and Ashwagandha root powder are mixed together to prepare the medicine. These powders can be stored for many months.          
Dosage/Application: 1 spoon of the prepared mixed powder is taken in an empty stomach. After 8days, babool powder is stopped and 1 spoon of anar leaf powder is taken. This medicine is taken for 2months. The effect of the medication is observed after 10days.                  
Precaution: The medicine is paused during the menstrual period and again continued after the completion of periods.
