The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for piles.
Disease symptoms: Painful lump near the anus,
bleeding during defecation, an itchy anus.
Ingredients: 10-15 g leaves of Thumaba (Leucas aspera (Willd.) Link), 10-20 g whole
plant of Goat weed (Ageratum conyzoides L.), 5-10 g root of
Arnotta (Bixa orellana L.) and 500 ml Rice
washed water.
Preparation: Collect, wash and boil all the ingredients in rice
washed water to prepare a decoction.
Dosage/Application: Take a bath using prepared
decoction once daily till cure.
