Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for retention of the placenta (ROP).
Disease symptoms: Degenerating, discoloured, ultimately fetid membranes hanging from the vulva
Ingredients: 500 g bark of Shimbal (Bombax ceiba L.).
Preparation: Crush and boil the bark to prepare decoction.
Dosage/Application: Feed 1 L decoction once to the affected animal.
