Herbal Treatment for Retention of Placenta (ROP)

Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for retention of placenta (ROP).
Disease symptoms: Degenerating fetid membranes hanging from the vulva.
Ingredients: 10 g fresh root of Gadmutta (Citrullus colocynthis (L.) Schrad.), 10 g fresh root of Dhamasha (Zygophyllum creticum (L.) Christenh. & Byng) and 10 g fresh root of Kishrha (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.).
Preparation: Collect, wash, crush and boil all the ingredients in 1 L water until the volume reduces to 250 ml. Allow the decoction to cool and then filter.
Dosage/Application: Feed 250 ml decoction twice daily to the affected animal for 1 day.
