Herbal Treatment for Sickle Cell Anaemia

Innovation Description
The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for sickle cell anaemia.
Disease symptoms: Fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness, heart palpitations, and low BP
Ingredients: 100 g root of Anantmul (Hemidesmus indicus (L.) R.Br.), 100 g bark of Arjun (Terminalia arjuna (Roxb. ex DC.) Wight & Arn.), 100 g whole plant of Basanga (Justicia adhatoda L.), 50g root of Duba (Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.), and 50 g rhizome of Adrak (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), 2 spoon Honey.
Preparation: Soak the bark of Arjun and root of Anantmul with 1 L water in a clay vessel. Then filter the infusion. Boil other 3 ingredients with 1 L water until the volume remains 250 ml. Then filter and collect the decoction.
Dosage/Application: Consume infusion with 1 spoon honey twice daily on an empty stomach as well as consume 1 cup decoction with honey twice daily for 3 months.
