The
traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for skin ulcer.
Disease symptoms: Skin discoloration, itching, scabbing, dry skin, pus formation
Ingredients: 1 kg fresh leaves of Kuvarpathu (Aloe vera (L.)
Burm.f.).
Preparation: Crush and boil the leaves with 2 L of water until the volume of water reduces to 1 L.
Dosage/Application: Feed 250 ml of the prepared decoction to the affected animal twice daily for 2-3 days.
