Innovation Description
The traditional
knowledge holder has suggested treatment for syphilis.
Disease symptoms: Body rashes, wart-like growths on genitals.
Ingredients: Fresh bark of Chimal (Bombax ceiba L.), fresh seeds of Sauf (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) and Sugar.
Preparation: Soak the ingredients in the earthen pot overnight to form an infusion.
Dosage/Application: Consume the infusion on an empty stomach.
Ingredients’ availability: The plants are available in nearby places. Sugar is available in the local market.
