The traditional knowledge holder has suggested treatment for typhoid.
Disease symptoms: Lethargy, intestinal bleeding or perforation, abdominal pain, peritonitis, fever.
Ingredients: 5 g dried root of Kucha (Tripidium bengalense (Retz.) H.Scholz), 2 seeds of Minda lingo (Helicteres isora L.), 5 g root of Bajra (Cenchrus americanus (L.) Morrone) and 5 g stem of Neem giloy (Tinospora cordifolia (Willd.) Hook.f. & Thomson).
Preparation: Collect, crush and boil all the ingredients in 100 ml water till the volume reduces to half to prepare a decoction.
Dosage/Application: Consume the decoction daily night before sleep for 5 days.
Precaution: Avoid sour foods.
