Purpose
To avoid backward motion on slope and to increase the safety of components of break and clutch system.

Technical details
For the forward movement of a vehicle, the driver applies half-clutch with his left leg shifting the right leg from the break to the accelerator and applies acceleration. The engine of a moving car or heavy vehicle which has a full load is likely to stop automatically and move backwards, when half-clutch is applied while attempting to ascend a small upward slope. In such occasions it causes an embarrassing situation to the driver. In such cases the driver takes extra strain to apply both the brake and accelerator simultaneously, twisting the right foot. This operation causes additional load on the engine and vehicle moves forward with brake in application. This results in the heating of the clutch and increased fuel consumption. To overcome the above mentioned the innovator has developed a simple but low cost device " Ignatius pulse accelerator", which is fitted to the dash-board of the vehicle. It is found quite useful and technically viable. When the driver of the vehicle ( that has been incorporated with this device), feels that the vehicle is likely to stop or it stops, while the vehicle ascends an upward slope or is held in traffic jam, he applies the brake, after holding the vehicle in half-clutch position. He then gently applies the pulse accelerator ( by applying the lever of the pulse accelerator fitted to the dash board) by the right hand and gradually releases the brake; the vehicle now starts moving forward. When it starts moving, he immediately shifts the right leg to the accelerator. This device is found to be very useful to avoid interruption of the working of the engine, especially in traffic jam and while ascending an upward slope. This Pulse Accelerator can be fitted to all types of motor vehicles.
