Innovation Description
Profile Innovator Mr. Arvindbhai R. Patel hails from Ahmadabad district of Gujarat. He has studied upto 10th class and got basic training of watch repairing. He is a technician and fabricator.
Purpose
Mr. Arvindbhai has developed a tong that enhance safety while handling highly
tempered vessel.
Technical details
Developed tool consists of one solid shaft that slides inside the pipe
(hollow shaft). A handle (holding loop) is provided with each end of the shaft.
A provision is provided to stop the sliding motion between the shafts by a set
of screw. At the end of each shaft a semi-circular arc type plate is fixed to
hold edge of the utensil.
Benefits
It can hold hot utensils in a balanced manner using both the hand, so it
removes drudgery of carrying load. Enhance the safety. It is adjustable and
provide more comfort.
