Innovation Description
Mr. Hirabhai Haridasbhai Chaudhary from Gujarat has developed a practice to control the insect pest of cumin crop.
Targeted pest: Whitefly
Targeted crop: Cuminum cyminum L. (Cumin)
Ingredients: Nicotiana tabacum L.
Methodology: Take 1 kg
fresh leaves of Nicotiana tabacum. Crush and mix it with 5 L of water. Keep it for 2 days,
filter the infusion and store it at room temperature. Use 20 ml of this decoction per liters
of water to spray on crop.
