Pressurized spring valve flush system

By : Mr. Vinay Kumar Rajput, Banda, Uttar Pradesh

Innovation Description

Profile
Mr. Vinay Kumar Rajput is from the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. He is involved in farming and labour work.

Purpose
In the toilets, water gets wasted when a flush is left on. To prevent this, Mr. Rajput has introduced a flush model that has a spring valve for automatic flushing in toilets.

Technical details
The commode base has two spring-operated valves that are operated in opposite directions to each other. When a user steps on the spring plate, the springs are compressed. The first spring is connected to the main water tank and the second one is connected to the reserve tank and flush pipe. On pressing the first plate, water gets stored in the reserve tank. When the user leaves the platform, the second valve comes into action and the water flows from the reserve tank to the flush pipe.

Benefits
It can help to keep the toilets clean and save water.
