Innovator Mr K S Sudheer hails from Thrissur (Trichur) district of Kerala.

Purpose
Mr Sudheer has observed that many accidents on the bike took place due to  side stand that remain open. To increase the safety of the rider he developed the device.

Technical details 
When the side stand is open this lock restricts the engagement of gears and hence driver is not able to drive the bike. To unlock gear,  the driver has compulsorily to put off the stand. While it only consists of two parts one washer and mild steel rod. Both are weld together, Rod has a specific angle one is 90-degree angle and other is the inclination angle of the bike itself. 

Benefits
It is easy to install safety device and prevents rider from accidents.
